BroadwindsorJust to the south of this pretty terraced village is a trio of hill forts, Pilsdon Pen, Lambert’s Castle and Coney’s Castle (all National Trust). They are connected by a network of paths and all provide magnificent views out across Marshwood Vale to the sea. William Wordsworth took a house on Pilsdon Pen for a while and declared that there was no finer view in England. |
