Ugborough

This attractive village, which has regularly won awards in ‘Best Kept Village’ competitions, has an imposing church more than 130 feet long that stands on top of a substantial prehistoric earthwork. Inside, there are some exceptional features, including a rood screen with a set of 32 painted panels, an unusual monumental brass of an unknown 15th century woman and a carved roof boss in the north aisle depicting a sow and her litter.
