Bradninch

This pleasant little village stands on what used to be the main Exeter to Taunton road but it is now, thankfully, bypassed. Of particular note here is the striking parish church, with its crenellated tower spouting gargoyles; inside, there is a magnificent 16th century rood screen beautifully coloured in gleaming red, blue and gold.

Just to the northeast of Bradninch is Diggerland, an exciting adventure park set in glorious Devon countryside. Visitors have the opportunity of driving real JCBs, mini-tractors, quad bikes and dumpers, as well as numerous other rides and activities for the whole family.
