Silecroft

Perhaps of all the villages in this coastal region of the National Park, Silecroft is the perfect example. Just a short walk from the heart of the village is the beach, which extends as far as the eye can see. On the horizon rises the distant outline of the Isle of Man. There is also a Site ofSpecial Scientific Interest close by, a tract of coastal scrubland that provides the perfect habitat for the rare natterjack toad.
