PenrhyncochThis is another village associated with one of Wales’ great poets: Dafydd ap Gwilym, who was born just a short distance from Penrhyncoch. Although little remains of Gwilym’s house except a small pile of stones, his medieval poetry lives on. Situated above the village is a series of five lakes known as the Penrhyncoch Lakes that offer fishing. |
