Cross InnTo the south of the village is New Quay Honey Farm which is the largest honey farm in Wales and is housed in an old chapel. The farm attracts more than 35,000 visitors a year and has a shop, tea room and the World of the Honey Bee exhibition. Travellers from all over the world have witnessed one of nature's most fascinating processes and sampled at first hand a wonderful range of natural hive products. In 1999 a meadery was added to produce some delicious honey wines which can be bought in the shop. The farm is also home to a tropical ant colony. Tel: 01545 560822 |
