Prickwillow

On the village's main street is the Prickwillow Drainage Engine Museum, which houses a unique collection of large engines associated with the drainage of the Fens. The site on the River Lark had been in continuous use as a pumping station since 1831, and apart from the engines there are displays charting the history of Fens drainage, the effects on land levels and the workings of the modern drainage system.
