Houghton

Houghton is a popular tourist destination thanks to its proximity to Houghton Mill and opportunities for riverside walks, as well as its charming thatched buildings and shops. Milling takes place on Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays. Houghton Meadows is a Site of Special Scientific Interest, with an abundance of hay meadow species. One of the most popular walks in the whole area links Houghton with St Ives.
