Hutton

Close to the village, overlooking the River Whiteadder, stands Hutton Castle, one time home of Sir William Burrell, shipping magnate and art collector, who donated the Burrell Collection to the city of Glasgow in 1944. Three of the rooms at the Castle are reproduced in the Collection.

Hutton Parish Church dates from 1835, and has an old bell dated 1661.
