BromhamThis quiet residential village has a splendid ancient bridge with no fewer than 26 arches. Close to the river is a watermill that dates back to the 17th century. Now fully restored and in working order, Bromham Mill is also home to displays of natural history, a gallery with regularly changing exhibitions of contemporary craftwork and fine art, and a tearoom overlooking the river where, if you’re lucky, you can watch kingfishers diving from the bank. |
