AbergwyngregynWell to the south of the village lie Rhaeadr Aber Falls, reached by taking a footpath through sheltered woodland, where the drop of the river is said to be among the steepest in Wales. Above the village is The Cross, a huge cross marked out by trees on the hillside. Some people claim it was planted as a memorial to the crew of a German bomber that crashed on the hillside.
