Experience a unique fragment of the wilderness which once covered much of East Anglia. Wicken Fen is the oldest nature reserve in the country, celebrating its centenary in 1999. It has now embarked on an ambitious expansion plan for the next 100 years. Famous for its rich plant, insect and bird life, it is a delight for the naturalist and rambler alike.

There is a boardwalk trail (¾ mile), nature trail (2¼ miles), adventurers' trail (2¾ miles) and longer optional trails. There are a number of hides including a new hide overlooking Baker's Fen There is a visitors centre with shop and displays as well as a tearoom.
