Situated in the heart of Ulverston, on one of its main streets
is The Hot Mango Cafe. This delightful place is run by
Stefanie, who took over in April 2011, and she has already proved
quite the host! Her hard work, dedication and quality of produce on
offer, have turned this cafe into an ideal place to enjoy a morning
coffee, light lunch or afternoon tea. Breakfast offers plenty of
options and is guaranteed to keep you satisfied until tea time.
Lunch is served from 11.30 – 3pm, and visitors can expect to see
jacket potatoes, sandwiches, soup and paninis with a wide variety of
fillings. There is also a selection of more substantial options such
as Whitby scampi and the classic steak burger. The specials board is
regularly updated which means there is always something new to try.
Stefanie’s mum is in charge of the sweets, and her cakes and
biscuits are sure to impress. Freshness, taste and satisfaction is
key, and all dishes are created using locally sourced ingredients as
much as possible.
The cafe is open Monday – Saturday 9am til 4pm. Closed on
Sunday.
