A girls' school for 60 years, this Baroque mansion built in 1713 is now the family home of Lord & Lady Feversham. The restored principal rooms are typical of a late 19th century "grand interior", and the landscaped "green garden" with its temples and terraces, has been described as 'the supreme masterpiece of the art of the landscape gardener'. The National Nature Reserve within over 400 acres of rolling Parkland is a delight to explore. End a perfect day with a visit to the Parkland Centre Tearoom & Shop, taste the delights of homemade food and browse at your leisure the unusual hand made crafts made in Yorkshire.
