Located in a beautiful rural area, this modern, three storey house is still in close proximity to Peebles and other Border towns. Situated at the gateway to the Glentress Forest, there are some fantastic views to be enjoyed in the surrounding area. The Shieling Guest House is popular with walkers and those wanting to explore the Borders. An idyllic stream runs through the spacious garden of the house and there is a summer house and decking area for guests to make the most of on brighter days. The views really are superb and the area is popular with cyclists and walkers as well as tourists. The guest house has storage for mountain bikes.

There are three tastefully decorated and comfortable bedrooms, all boasting TVs, WiFi and hospitality trays; two of which boast king size beds. Two of them are en suite and the other has its own private facilities. Open all year round, evening meals can be ordered and all of the produce is sourced locally from the farmers market, butchers and bakers.

Owned by Pauline McHugh, the gay friendly guest house also welcomes children; some pets can stay by prior arrangement. There is off road parking. No credit cards are taken.
