Serving the very best in fine local produce, Brechin's Brasserie is well known for its quality food and good service. The Mediterranean style brasserie is located in the centre of Rothesay, the main town of the Isle of Bute and has a growing reputation for its healthy eating choices since opening in 2004. Brechin's Brasserie has won a second healthy living award from Consumer Focus Scotland and prides itself on providing excellent home cooked dishes of the highest standard. Among the most popular dishes on the extensive menu are those using locally smoked fish and Bute lamb and beef. The dishes are homemade and freshly prepared, using top quality ingredients that will tantalise the fussiest of taste buds.The Brasserie, located in the town centre just a short walk from the ferry and marina, offers occasional themed menus and music evenings on Fridays & Saturdays. Many visitors to the town go to see Rothesay Castle, which dates back to the 13th century and visit and revisit the Brasserie to sample the delights on offer and enjoy the friendly atmosphere. Freshly ground coffee and home baking are available throughout the day.Brechin's Brasserie is open Tuesday - Saturday between 10.30am and 2.30pm and from 7pm on Friday and Saturdays for dinner. |
