Occupying a superb position overlooking Loch Awe, Ardbrecknish House, is the ideal base for exploring scenic Argyll with access to limitless outdoor pursuits. Extending some 26 miles, Loch Awe is the longest freshwater loch in Britain set in some of the most outstanding scenery in the Highlands, Glen Coe being just over an hour away. Loch Awe holds the Brown Trout record at 31lb 12oz and is renowned for trout and pike fishing.Boat hire and launch facilities are available 300 yards away. There are many historical sites on and around the loch including Kilchurn Castle and Innishail Burial Isle all accessible by either foot or boat. Oban, gateway to the Isles, is only 45 minutes away and Inveraray is 20 minutes.Ardbrecknish House offers ten self catering properties varying in size sleeping from 2 to 12. There is a friendly bar, restaurant and games room with pool, darts and carpet bowls. There are laundry facilities and a children's play area. Open all year and pets are welcome. |
