Housed in a de-consecrated church in the centre of Bishop Auckland, is the Four Clocks Centre. It is here, that visitors will find the superb Time For You Tea Rooms.

Created by Francesca in 2008, the building's fantastic architecture with stained glass windows creates a superb setting in which to dine. The menu offers a wide range of freshly prepared snacks and meals such as jacket potatoes, sandwiches, home-made quiche, paninis, breakfasts and plenty more all made with local produce where possible. A range of tempting treats including caramel slice, scones, cakes and biscuits is sure to satisfy a sweet tooth.

Each month an exhibition of local arts and crafts are displayed around the tearooms, all of which are available to purchase. Francesca also offers a book swapping session, whereby visitors can bring a book of their own and exchange it for one of hers. Disabled access is not a problem and baby changing facilities are available.

Open Mon - Fri 8.30 - 4pm and Saturdays 10am - 2pm.
