Experience life afloat as you climb aboard the historic narrow boats, or step back in time to the period dockworkers cottages along Porters Row. With rattling exhibitions of working steam diesel engines, colourful displays of canal ware and the fascinating history of canal development, Britain's industrial and social heritage is brought vividly to life at The Boat Museum. The 7.5 acre site is right by J9 of the M53, provides a great day out for all the family, and has a gift shop, café and free car park.
