Café 34 is a small friendly family run diner in Kendal, situated in Stramongate. Its contemporary feel and relaxed atmosphere welcomes all, open Monday to Saturday 8.45am-4.30pm, both cash and credit cards accepted. Locals say what the property lacks in size it more than makes up for in hospitality, with owners Helen, Mike, daughter Charlotte and a hard working team of dedicated employees delivering quality food and drinks all year round.

Cafe 34 is licensed and also offers a wide range of hot and cold beverages. A range of snacks, paninis, salads, jacket potatoes and sandwiches with an impressive range of fillings is on offer including traditional Ploughman's lunch, or heart warming homemade soup of the day.

Locals say that Helen and Mike have made a real success of the business and rave over the wide range of tasty breakfasts available for any appetite. Cafe 34 also offers a range of fresh fish dishes created with the help of next doors fishmonger Nik, all cooked fresh to order. There really is something to suit everyone which is why this charming property is always full to the brim of satisfied customers.
