Doug and Shirley Gillam's Tea Room and Restaurant stands in the heart of Ulverston, built on the successful family reputation of Gillam's 1892 Grocery across the road. Their desire to provide honest, wholesome, organic food has given them a place in The Times- Top 10 Tearooms locally and nationally. Gillam's provides a wide range of delectable vegetarian sweets and savouries with special diets catered for, offering a touch of finery with dishes such as Lady Fell's Drawing Room Afternoon Tea for Two; comprising finger sandwiches, scones with preserves and cream, with a selection of dainty cakes served with a choice of tea and wine. Open Mon-Sat 9-5pm, Sun 10-4pm.
