A highlight of a visit to Keswick, Bryson's of Keswick have been in trading for over 60 years now and they are still going strong; Debra has been here for 3 years and is ably carrying on the excellent Bryson's reputation. Bryson's craft bakery started baking bread from locally milled flour more than 60 years ago on the same site that the shop and bakery stand today. A family business then as well as now, Bryson's is the place to go for high quality confectionery for that special treat!

Open between 8.30 am and 5.30 pm normally and between 9 am and 5 pm during the winter months, there is seating for 80 upstairs and another 30 outside if the weather is agreeable. The menu is extensive, offering everything from a snack to a full meal to an afternoon tea. As you would expect from such heritage, all of the ingredients are sourced locally and all of the bakery products are created daily to ensure freshness. Downstairs, Bryson's also sells a vast range of locally made preserves, chocolates, biscuits etc and there is an area to buy takeaway goods made on site, e.g cakes, pies and pastries to enjoy on the move.
