Located only 1 mile from Penrith town centre but set in the beautiful Eden Valley, The Crown Hotel at Eamont Bridge is a welcoming former coaching inn dating back to 1707. For the past sixteen years, owner Wendy Graham-Weston, has worked tirelessly in her beloved Inn and has consequently established a glowing reputation for the quality of the appetising home-made food served here.

The chalkboard menu offers a cosmopolitan selection of dishes, including Indian, Chinese and Italian, along with home-grown favourites such as smoked BBQ chicken and minced beef pie. Vegetarian choices might include a Broccoli & Pasta Bake or a vegetarian tikka masala. Extra special meals include choices such as duck a l'orange and lamb Henry. Only locally sourced meats and vegetables are used. Food is served every lunchtime and evening during the week, and all day on Saturday and Sunday and bank holidays. A tasty carvery with a choice of roasts is added to the menu on Sundays, as these are extremely popular it is wise to book ahead. Great value continues with children eating free when one adult purchases a main dish.

The Crown also has 15 beautifully appointed guest bedrooms, 6 of which have en suite facilities. The tariff includes a delicious breakfast. All major credit cards apart from American Express and Diners are accepted. There is plenty of parking for guests convenience.
