Built in 1727, The Beehive is an 18th century inn offering all the best in hospitality as well as providing a warm and friendly atmosphere, perfect for relaxing with friends and family. Enjoyed thoroughly by all who visit, the beehive is a wonderful family run business, offering great food and drink throughout the day.

Run by Martyn and Samantha Swaby, the young and enthusiastic couple have really put their stamp on the place. The property is becoming ever so popular with both locals and tourists and there is always a hospitable buzz surrounding the bar, inviting to all.

Food is served daily from 12-9pm and there are a range of sandwiches, jacket potatoes and salads, as well as pub classics of whole tail scampi, three cheese pasta bake, homemade steak and ale pie and large mixed grill, which comes from 21 day mature beef, which has been selected from locally sourced meat. There are also main courses of suet pudding, chicken and bacon melt and a delicious homemade creamy mushroom strogonoff. All of this can be washed down with one of two lovely real ales always on tap.
