Vivien and Duncan Costello are your hosts at Nuts Bistro, located on the main Station Road in St Ives. The couple have been running the bistro for the past five years and have established a popular name for themselves, owing to the high quality of homemade food they serve day in day out.Open from 8:30am-4pm Monday to Saturday and from 11am-3pm on Sundays throughout the year, guests are guaranteed to find a warm welcome waiting. The contemporary interior of the cafe is given warmth by its hosts and its attractive red brick counter. The pleasant aroma of home baking fills the cafe at all hours, laden with the promise of your order. The menu includes homemade soup, quiche, pies, pastries, toasties and Paninis. Popular dishes include chicken and stilton toastie, steak and kidney pie, and homemade leek and potato soup. All dishes are created using local produce where possible, and are made fresh to order on a first come first served basis. Also popular at the Bistro are the range of mouth watering desserts and cakes, including the classic cream tea. Vivien and Duncan are proud to say that 95% of their cakes are homemade; so satisfaction is guaranteed. Children welcome, cash and cheque only. |
