The Museum of East Anglian Life occupies a 75-acre site in the heart of Stowmarket. Its rich collections of social, rural and industrial history include a number of historic buildings such as a working watermill, a smithy, a chapel and a 13th century farmhouse.
There is something for the whole family to enjoy with a variety of farm animals, adventure playground, picnic sites, café and gift shop. Throughout the year the Museum holds special events as well as demonstrations of crafts and engines in steam. The Museum is open from April to October.
