Owners Andy and Kerry of The Six Bells in Felsham also possess another pub, The Royal Oak which is heralded as the place to be in Ipswich for live music. With live music on Friday and Saturday, and open mic jamming sessions on Thursday and Sunday evenings; this claim certainly looks to be confirmed on a weekly basis. This brick built pub was constructed back in the 1700's and a refurbishment two years ago has brought the Royal Oak bang up to date. The contemporary and modern decor creates a warm and friendly greeting as you enter, enhanced by the background hum of regulars chatting away. Entertainment, if live music is not enough for you, is supplied in the form of a pool table and a dart board. Open from 4 pm till midnight from Monday to Thursday and from 12 till late from Friday to Sunday, this pub also has excellent disabled facilities. |
