Experience the sights and sounds of yesterday's Great Yarmouth. Visit these unique and vividly-presented houses, one set in c.1870 and the other in 1942, just before incendiary bombing. Find out how Yarmouth's `Herring Girls' lived, hear an original BBC wartime broadcast and `Mr Rope's sea shanties'. See the amazing collection of artefacts rescued from Row houses after World War II bombing, and contrast tenement conditions with `respectable' merchant's interiors.
