A truly authentic Spanish restaurant set in four lovely acres of Essex countryside, La Casacada is well known in the Colchester area for fine food, excellent service and a delightful dining experience. The exterior is modern and kept meticulous by managers Emma and David who are keen to ensure that every guest has a great visit. Inside the restaurant boasts a modern and contemporary decor that creates a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere enhanced by the sumptuous smells emanating from the kitchen.

Colchester has the distinction of being the oldest recorded town in the U.K. and being on the edge of Constable country; the area around La Cascada is certainly worth exploring. The chefs make good use of the location by sourcing only the best local ingredients for the extensive Spanish menu. Dishes in this stunning menu include paella, tapas, suckling pig, lots of fresh fish and grilled steaks.

A selection of fine wines allow special wine tasting evenings and La Casacada is more than capable of hosting those special occasions, with room for large functions. An outside barbeque area is well used during the summer months and the large garden creates an excellent summer dining area.
