The Kilns Hotel is a splendid 3 storey story Queen Anne house, grade II listed with an early 18th century brick façade that masks elements that date back as far as the 16th century. Whilst the exterior captures that olde worlde appearance of that era, the interior has been completely renovated to the highest standards producing a beautiful contemporary boutique style hotel. Each room has its own individuality with comfort and relaxation in mind.

Just off junction 29 of the M25, the Kilns is situated just 3.5 miles from Brentwood and Upminster town centres in the conservation village of Great Warley, which has a number of country pubs, national trust parks, golf courses and historical buildings such as the Parish Church of St. Mary the Virgin; with its renowned Art Deco interior. The Kilns is only 30 minutes from the metropolis of London and approximately 3½ hours from Paris via Ebbsfleet International train station, which is approximately 26 minutes away with regular trains travelling to Europe. Well placed geographically, The Kilns is also conveniently located within easy access to Stansted Airport to the North West and London city to the east, both approximately 30 minuets drive. London Gatwick airport is 44 miles and London Heathrow Airport is 58 miles.

The Kilns is privately owned and is managed by Luke Bonnett who is available most days and is likely to be the one who will greet you upon your arrival and will then confidently leave you in the capable hands of his helpful and friendly staff. The owners hotel policy is expressed in its company motto which reads "Your comfort is our pleasure" and you can be sure that during your stay you will receive the very best the hotel has to offer.

The Kilns boasts 15 excellent rooms which are decorated and furnished to a high standard. Each room is centrally heated and has modern en-suite shower or bath rooms, with hot water on demand. All the rooms are bright, elegant and comfortable and are fully equipped with wireless internet, digital TV, in-room telephones and tea and coffee making facilities. House keeping can provide a laundry service upon request.

In addition to the beautiful guest rooms there is also the splendid, cosy and intimate White Napkin lounge bar and restaurant. There is an air of sophistication in these two rooms with a mixture of contemporary and classic furnishings. The bar and dining room are open to guests and public all year round. The crisp chic of the dining room creates a sense of freshness, but the fine food, good company and seamless service guarantee to give each meal a more intimate feel. The bar serves a good selection of wines, spirits, beers, soft drinks, teas and coffees to accompany a careful selected menu of the finest seasonal produce.
