Licensees Richard and Kate welcomes visitors to the Rose & Crown with warm smiles, a fine variety of real ales and a country menu featuring local produce, traditionally cooked. This is definitely a place for real ale enthusiasts, with familiar brews from Sharps and Nethergate Doombar joined by weekly changing guests from local breweries.

The bar is open for food and drink from 12 - 2 at lunchtime and 6 -9 every evening and all day Saturday and Sunday. TV racing in the snug is a Saturday treat for racing fans.
