Marsh Mills Station, Coypool Road, Plympton, Devon PL7 4NW

Tel: 01752 330881

website: www.plymrail.co.uk

The object of the Plym Valley Railway is to relay and restore a short section of the former Great Western Railway branch line from Plymouth to Launceston via Tavistock and, in particular, the section that runs from Marsh Mills, Plympton to the local beauty spot of Plym Bridge, a distance of around a mile and a quarter. A series of heritage steam and diesel locomotives from the 1950s and 1960s operate the services that run on Sundays and there is also a buffet and souvenir shop at Marsh Mills.
