The beautifully landscaped ten-acre gardens of Burrow Farm Gardens were created over the last 40 years by Mary Benger and will appeal to both plantsmen and those seeking a relaxing walk around a tranquil landscape that also offers extensive views. The gardens include a fascinating woodland garden created in an ancient Roman clay pit and the most recent addition _ Millennium mill garden. Sweeping lawns lead between island beds of unusual shrubs and herbaceous plants down to the lake whilst the pergola walk features old roses and herbaceous plants. The terrace and courtyard gardens feature later summer flowering plants. Burrow Farm Gardens has been awarded star status in the Good Gardens Guide. |
