Lappa Valley Steam Railway is one of the most popular attractions in the whole county, offering a great day out for families. The centrepiece is the 15" gauge steam railway that runs through beautiful countryside from Benny Halt to East Wheal Rose, but there are two other, tinier railways, one of them featuring a miniature Intercity 125.

The site provides a good habitat for wildlife, and other attractions include nature trails, woodland walks, a nine-hole golf course, a boating lake, a brick path maze, play areas, coffee and gift shops and old mine engine house.
