The Oxford is reached from the pedestrianised main street in the heart of Redruth and visitors will be pleased to find it conveniently opens all day, every day. Attentive hosts Diana and Allan have been welcoming guests here for the past six years creating a traditional homely atmosphere in which to enjoy good ale and traditional home cooked food at reasonable prices.

Expert chef Lesley, uses local produce in her cuisine whenever possible to create fantastic homemade dishes full of good, honest flavours. The specials board sees classics such as Bubble and Squeak, Bangers and Mash and Liver and Onions with a fabulous choice of old fashioned desserts including Bread and Butter pudding and traditional Rice pudding. Regular dishes on the main menu include Steak and Scampi combo, Steak and Stilton, Lasagne, Vegetable Chilli and Chicken Curry. There is a wide range of tasty baguettes/sandwiches/jacket potatoes and toasties available daily as well as an all day breakfast fit for a king! Food is available Mon-Wed 12-3pm, Thurs-Sat 12-4pm and all day Sunday.

Friday night hosts a disco from 8pm with promotional offers. There is a quality covered outdoor patio area to the rear and The Oxford has good disabled facilities with ramped access.
