The extremely popular Trewarmett Inn is located a short distance from Tintagel on the North Cornwall coast. Providing Fantastic food and drink recommended by many, the property also offers 5 attractive sea view bedrooms, which are available all year round.

New Landlords Adrian and Keri have been at the helm since September 2008 and are putting their stamp on the 300-year-old Inn. The building is traditional and from the outset is quite quaint and picturesque. The materials running throughout are lovely and feature flagstone floors and low-beamed ceilings, making the property extremely homely and welcoming.

Very popular with the locals, the food and drink served here is top notch. Adrian is a professional chef, and before taking over here, was working in the trade for over 20 years. Needless to say, the food he prepares is tremendous. Only the best ingredients are used here and as many as humanly possible are sourced locally including the meat, which is from a nearby farm. 95% of the dishes served are homemade and there are many traditional dishes, which go down well with those visiting time and time again. Main courses such as duck breast in a red wine and cinnamon reduction and local lamb shank grace the menu, as well as others such as pork chops, `Kernow Kobe' pork and leek sausages, vegetable lasagne and vegetable Thai curry. There are plenty of tasty starters and side dishes available as well as a Children's menu, which is very popular and has a lovely selection of healthy pasta dishes, as well as the usual chicken nuggets and scampi and chips.

The accommodation available at The Trewarmett Inn is lovely and tastefully decorated in neutral tones. There are 5 bedrooms available, 4 are double rooms with ensuite bathrooms and sea views and the fifth bedroom is a twin with its own private bathroom. The prices vary, and there are special offers available for those wishing to stay for 3 nights or more. All prices are inclusive of a tasty breakfast each morning.

Food is served at this business from 12-2.30 and 6-9pm daily. It is recommended that you book on Sundays, when there is a Carvery served at lunchtime and also in the evenings during the summer months, as the restaurant is very popular and can get booked up quite quickly.
