Directions:

Chacewater is located between Truro and Redruth on the Threemilestone to Scorrier road. The nursery is in the centre of the village behind the King's Head pub.

Description:

Approached through a stone archway and wrought iron gates, Sunny Corner Nurseries are situated within a listed walled garden which during the late 1800s served as the village market. The original walls are hosts to house sparrows and wall bees. The solid granite pillars are still in place although the lean-to roof was renovated in 1973 following the collapse of the mining industry. With plenty of undercover space in the greenhouses, polytunnels and shop area, which looks out onto raised plant beds, this quaint little nursery is a must in any weather. The wide range of plants on offer include evergreen and deciduous shrubs, perennials, herbaceous and alpine plants together with trees, climbers and succulents for every location. The nursery also stocks a comprehensive range of gardening products and has a full floristry service. Sunny Corner is open from 9am-5pm, Monday to Saturday, and from 10.30am-4pm on Sunday.
