The National Seal Sanctuary, set on the picturesque reaches of the Helford Estuary, is a haven for some of the world's most enchanting creatures. Every year the sanctuary rescues, rehabilitates and releases over 30 injured or abandoned seal pups. Following all the care and attention in the seal hospital, the pups are transferred to the convalescence pools once they are well enough and able to feed. In these pools they build up their strength before returning to the wild. By getting involved with the adoption scheme, your valuable contribution would directly benefit the seals in their recovery and, in most cases, eventual release.
