A stylish recent addition to the attractions of Llanidloes is L'Armoire Fashion House, opened by Laura Thomas in March 2009.
 
In French, L'Armoire means `The Wardrobe' and if you could fill your own wardrobe with a selection of the wonderful designer products on offer here, that would surely be sartorial heaven. Amongst the roll-call of famous names are Joseph Ribkoff, Oui Moments, Rouge and Betty Barclay. There are items from Catherine Andre, exclusive to Wales, along with pieces from Crea Concept and Gold.

To complement these elegant creations, L'Armoire also stocks jewellery by Barbara Easton, About Face, Jackie Brazil and Amber Moda, as well as hosiery from Cette and Gypsy. An aromatic collection of French soaps and perfumes is also available. Everything is displayed with great imagination and flair, making this a superb place to browse. But once you've seen the to-die-for fashion on show, you'll certainly want to do more than just browse! L'Armoire is open from 9.30am to 5pm, Monday to Saturday.
