In one of the oldest buildings in the town, with many original features intact, Shelagh Owen's splendid shop offers quality and value for money over a wide range of products.

Upon entering, visitors will be overwhelmed by the tempting aromas of freshly ground coffee, spices and freshly baked bread. The food section presents a wide range of tasty produce such as organic eggs, freshly baked gluten free cakes, Welsh products, organic flour, a large selection of herbs and spices, freshly ground coffee and dietary goods. Beyond, shoppers will find natural remedies and supplements, and Shelagh is more than happy to offer help and advice on her products where needed. There is a large selection dedicated to hair care and hygiene products, handmade soaps, natural candles and health and diet books. Upstairs can be found a wide range of clothing
including Fairtrade dresses, tops and scarves. Shelagh has also introduced a new range of natural clothing from Braintree Hemp Shop hours are 9 to 5.30 Monday to Saturday, and flexible hours during the summer.
