Just above St Florence, a short drive west of Tenby, Liz and Roger Hainsworth own and run one of the very few specialist semi-matured plant centres in the land. On display at Grandiflora Plant & Garden Centre are thousands of containerised British trees and shrubs, and plants up to 25 feet tall and 100 years old help customers achieve instant landscapes at any time of the year. They include palms, bamboos, Mediterranean, coastal, jungle exotic and unusual plants, as well as a wide range of smaller plants, with bedding plants and made-up hanging baskets in the spring.

The garden shop is packed with gardening aids and accessories and a selection of unusual garden-themed gift ideas. Tree and plant hire is available for functions, events and films, and the owners and staff offer a full advisory, delivery and planting service throughout South Wales. Next to the Centre is the very popular Bramleys Tea Room (Tel: 01834 871778), serving morning coffee, light snacks, lunches, cakes, desserts and cream teas. A fine choice of home-cooked local produce runs from soups and pies to meat and vegetarian sausages, Sunday roasts and monthly themed evenings. The Centre is open seven days a week from 10 to 5 (10 to 4 November to January).
