Dorothy Morris is a teacher and creator of unique pieces in a variety of crafts, specialising in and widely known for her original fine arts, silks and ceramics. In her studio she produces hand-made and decorated plates, sculptures, batik bags, scarves and textiles, along with original Fine Art paintings inspired mainly by the flowers and fauna and the diverse wildlife of the woods and lakes in the magical area surrounding her place of work.

Her Mezzanine Gallery is located in the Stackpole Centre in Pembroke, in the beautiful grounds of the National Trust's Home Park Estate. Dorothy also produces limited edition prints and photographs printed with giclée inks on high-quality paper. She has long been fascinated by the unique attractions of batik, which led her to explore the many other art forms and techniques she has mastered. For many years she has been a representative of the Batik Guild.

With a degree in textiles and an MA in Fine Art, Dorothy is a qualified teacher specialising in textiles and surface decoration, and she organises regular workshops and accredited classes for adults and children across all sectors of society. The Mezzanine gallery is open on summer Saturdays, otherwise by appointment.
