Corwen Manor was originally the old union workhouse, which was built in 1837. It is now a thriving craft centre owned and run by the Sayer family. The craft shop which has a good range of Welsh gifts and souvenirs also has a wool shop, which sells King Cole wool and haberdashery. The candle workshop is best known for its wide range of novelty candles, all made in Wales. So whether you collect cats, dogs, frogs, pigs, dragons, owls or teddy bears you're sure to find them here. For the budding candle maker they stock candle making supplies and craft kits. For that special occasion there is a range of personalised gifts from candles to love spoons, which can be personalised with names and dates of your choice in English of Welsh. For the fisherman Corwen Manor stocks a fine range of fishing tackle and baits. Most top brands stocked all at very competitive prices. Feeling hungry and need a snack?
