Proactive Adventure Holidays is a respected and experienced provider of Outdoor Education. The company has many years experience of providing residential outdoor breaks to families, schools and youth groups. The organization caters for age groups from 6 to 60 and all levels of ability. The centre has a range of accommodation varying from a Yurt camp to 3 star en-suite bedrooms.

With easy access from the motorway network and main services, the centre features on-site facilities including a full high ropes course, BMX track, climbing and abseiling tower, archery and orienteering course. Off-site in the local area canoeing and kayaking is offered, both on placid water or white water. There are exciting venues close by for climbing and abseiling and the surrounding mountains offer great guided mountain walks. For those who fancy something a little more exciting there is available caving and white water gorge walks. If you don't mind travelling for about an hour there is also coasteering which is great fun and very popular.

Unlike many large commercial providers who use "in house" trained instructors, Proactive Adventure Holidays only employ instructors who hold National Governing Body Awards and who have at least 3 years post qualifying experience. There is 24 hour cover by staff qualified in First Aid as well as 24 hour security to ensure the highest standards of welfare.
