Rather unusually the building occupied by Bistro Bach was built using reclaimed wood from redundant churches and halls around the area. To the side of the establishment is a courtyard with a striking castle turret - this can be reached from the Castle Walk.

The bistro is owned by Gethin Jones who is also the head chef. His appetising menu is based on locally sourced ingredients with special prominence given to Welsh mountain lamb and gold-award-winning beef from the local butcher's. The menu changes according to the seasons while the Specials Board is regularly updated. To accompany your meal, there's an extensive choice of local wines, ales from the local Great Orme Brewery and a wide range of Welsh liqueurs.

If you are visiting this medieval walled town in late October, you can participate in the Conwy Feast, a weekend celebrating food and drink which features celebrity chefs, real ale celebration, wine tasting, a busking festival and food halls stacked with local produce.
