Standing at the end of a tree-lined driveway and set amidst 30 acres of grounds, Cleifiog Uchaf Country House is a lovingly restored and discreetly modernised 16^th century longhouse. Inside, richly furnished lounges, sumptuous sofas, beautiful paintings and roaring fires all add to the charm and character of this wonderful country retreat. A major attraction here is Llywelyn's, an intimate bistro-style licensed restaurant serving a selective menu of dishes based on seasonal, locally sourced Anglesey produce. Llywelyn's Welsh chef trained at the world-famous Ballymaloe School in Ireland and he uses these fine ingredients to bring alive old classics, turning them into delicious 21^st century dishes.

Cleifiog Uchaf offers guests the choice of either bed & breakfast, or self-catering accommodation. B&B guests stay in one of the delightfully varied rooms, all of which are individually styled and decorated and feature flat-screen TVs, DVD players, WiFi internet access and tea/coffee-making facilities. If you prefer self-catering, there are two converted cottages available, both with one bedroom and both beautifully furnished and decorated throughout, and with extra features such as Egyptian cotton towels and luxury toiletries.
