Walnut Hill Nurseries are specialists in specimen trees, shrubs and architectural plants for instant planting. The nursery is owned and run by Adrian Hollingworth and David Bagley, directors of Findwillow Ltd, and is managed by Adrian's daughter Anjuli and horticultural expert Konrad Zelazik. Walnut Hill Nurseries were established in 1981 to provide mature specimens for Findwillow, a main contractor for building and landscaping, and were developed to supply plants to all trade and retail customers. Though primarily a trade nursery selling to landscapers, garden designers and public gardens, Walnut Hill also welcomes the general public, with many special offers for retail customers and a wide range of plants for customers needing a fast and convenient cash & carry service. Three acres of mature and semi-mature container-grown plants include architectural plants and topiary and the site also has three polytunnels. For unusual plant requirements Walnut Hill draws on a network of other growers in the UK and Europe. The nursery has been renovated gradually over the past few years to provide an upgraded irrigation system, better tree and climber tying systems and improved paths, access and standing out areas - all to enhance the quality of the plants and the facilities for visitors.

Walnut Hill Nurseries incorporates a plant hiring service, Willowbean, catering for all shows, events and other occasions large and small. Knowledgeable staff are happy to give advice on planting and plant care at the nursery, which is open from 8am to 4pm Tuesday to Friday and 9am to 1pm Saturday April to October. Delivery can be arranged to all locations in the South East. The location is close to Gravesend, Jeskyns Country Park, Bluewater and Cobham. Customers who can't get to the nursery can order by e-mail through the website, which contains the complete plant and price lists.
