Peckforton Castle is the realisation of the dreams on one man. John Tollemache, MP of Cheshire, built this breathtaking castle between 1844 and 1851. Standing on top of a wooded hillside, its dramatic silhouette can be seen for miles across the Cheshire Plains. Today it is a magnificent Grade I listed building and architecturally recognised as the UK's truest representation of a medieval castle.
