Experience the atmosphere of the steam railway age as you step back in time to the North Road Passenger Station of 1842. See Stephenson's Locomotion, which hauled its first train on the Stockport and Darlington Railway in 1825. Explore the railway heritage of North East England through a collection of engines, carriages and wagons. Open daily 10-5pm, all year except 25th and 26th December and 1st January.
