Described by Alan Titchmarsh as 'a tapestry of colourful blooms', Crook Hall is a beautiful medieval manor house surrounded by romantic gardens, which include ancient fruit trees and climbing roses.

Visitors are invited to try out the maze, hunt down the ghosts, experience the peace and tranquillity of the walled gardens, or simply relax and enjoy a homemade cream tea in the pretty little courtyard café. The Hall is just a short walk from Durham's bustling market place yet the atmosphere is one of peace and tranquillity.
